I'm suspecting Octomum wouldn't have happened in China.Didn't realize till talking to a female Chinese tour guide..the oldest daughter of 2 girls and a boy..that a family could pay for a 2nd or 3rd child...till they got a son, as they did.
She also said that both the girls are helping pay off that debt.
