NOTICE:

Kevin Booth, owner and operator of SACRED COW PRODUCTIONS, has granted me an interview for my book. Of course, the whole point is to get more people into the comic and philosophical genius of BILL HICKS.

As I already stated --- my book is dedicated to my wife and also to BILL HICKS.

The DEDICATION reads as follows:

"Paula --- I dedicate this book to you. It was out of a desire to protect, that I began this journey. It was out of a desire to honor and protect --- that I finished. Thank you for your unending support and committment. I will always love you.

I also dedicate this book to the late BILL HICKS. Although a comedian by trade, Bill was more of a philosopher. He is sorely missed by all who knew him or knew his work. Thank you Bill, for taking a squeegee to my third-eye. R.I.P.

My reason for interviewing Kevin, who was Bill's best friend since the age of 14, right up to his tragic death at only 32 years-old --- is because I have a section in my book that deals with whom I call AMERICAN HERO PATRIOTS. Naturally, BILL HICKS is number one on this list. I believe that he was a very significant figure. Like his musical hero JIMI HENDRIX --- Bill was gone much too soon.

This is the second celebrity interview that I have done for my book. The first was film director JOHN CARPENTER --- concerning his 1989 non-fiction documentary THEY LIVE. In fact, I will be using one of his statements to me as a blurb on the books' cover.
