In reading your post I see decisions being made to go the hospital. Is that by the individual patient? Is what is dragging the system down the old folks who monopolize the healthcare system with useless procedures? I do know they put the most pressure on the system. I feel the insurance companies make a lot of the calls on procedures that doctors should make. But if we leave it just to doctors will we get even more useless healtcare?
