A lesser person might have made hay out of my demonstrable gaffe a few posts back, but no, you instead mentioned the substance of it without calling me out, and that is just one of the things that makes me glad to be able to have an asynchronous chit-chat with you on this board.

For the record, I don't think that you're "wrong" in your thinking--I'm just led by different horses. I love the song; you don't. I'm happy to love it, and made no less happy that you don't. I don't need you to love it for me to love it.

One of the Lennon/McCartney songs I always felt fell short of potential is "I Will." I still love that song, though. I use it as a lullabye, and have for many years.
