Steve, while you are stuck in Tarrytown for work I do have a recommendation. The Tarrytown Music Hall is right there and a cool place to catch a show. I don't know when you will be there but if you are working during the day you can easily catch a show at night.Here is the link to the venue:http://tarrytownmusichall.org/and here is their schedule and where you can purchase tickets:http://tickets.tarrytownmusichall.org/Also while you are there, it is just a short train ride from the Tarrytown station into Grand Central so you can hop on the train and go right into the city. I have friends that lived in Tarrytown and have since moved to Sleepy Hollow...the next town over, so I'm there a lot.
