One reason why the tv show CSI isn't appreciated too much by those in the field is because of the liberties it takes with forensics in this occupation. Another reason is because it really makes our job so much harder to do. People expect more when more really can't be done.

The comment about the shock to our resident "right wingers" refers to if you go back and re-read some of my comments, you will discover I am a leftist. Leftists are quite rare in places like policing and the military (which I was once in the army).

And don't be embarrassed about art. I envy those who are creative and full of art.
