Conceal carry is legal in Colorado. The theater has a no weapons policy, as is
their right under Colorado law. As has been written thousands of times, Joe
citizen in that theater with a .45 in his waistband would have been ineffective
--and likely counterproductive--in a dark room filled with gas/smoke and
hundreds of panicked people.
