Diane Ravitch's "Reign of Error", for a wonderful analysis of the attempt to destroy public education, which began with "No Child Left Behind" and was augmented rather than squelched by Obama's "Race to the Top."What is happening to traditional teacher corp is a travesty, and will, if unabated, result in many more regrettable resignations of top-flight teachers.
