Well maybe my "incoherent rambling" is incoherent to you because you've
only been taught one way of thought your whole life and that to think
differently is just wrong. Heck I don't know but you didn't yet offer up
your solution either. You certainly seem to have an opinion though and in
turn I'll say this.I live in a small US state by landmass, but my state alone has twice the
population of your whole country. But in order for us to stay the US of
A (as you call it) we abide by our constitution first and foremost and
that is always an area that can get dicey when it comes to a central
(federal) government attempting to call ALL the shots. It doesn't work
that way here and if you knew the constitution so well you would know
this.Look at the EU. Europe is attempting the same grand social experiment.
Lets all band together right? Be calm, be happy, we got this ...kinda
thing. Except by doing so you kinda sell your souls to whoever has hold
of the purse strings. Greece alone could financially ruin the EU accord.
The left in this country is trying to do the same thing. Take away
anything that you felt meant anything to you but at the same time
dangling some central assistance that makes it seem like it is all good.
But then you have no control over your own state (our country in your
case)We are the most powerful country in the world for a reason and that is
because (at least our conservative side) remembers what it was founded on
from nothing. Remember that our founders left Europe to escape tyranny."The deliberations of the Constitutional Convention of 1787 were held
in strict secrecy. Consequently, anxious citizens gathered outside
Independence Hall when the proceedings ended in order to learn what had
been produced behind closed doors. The answer was provided immediately. A
Mrs. Powel of Philadelphia asked Benjamin Franklin, “Well, Doctor, what
have we got, a republic or a monarchy?” With no hesitation whatsoever,
Franklin responded, “A republic, if you can keep it.” (Benjamin
Franklin)"I'm curious to know how you think our federal constitution is deeply
flawed because you only say it is and yet you haven't told me why?
