"As for the "you lied to us" bit, how in the hell could people have not
seen before that the reliance on emotional go-to issues was a smoke
screen?"Well, the first thing I would say is that the Fourth Estate, our media,
did not do their job and sound the alarm bells. So when you have the
politicians all saying the same things and the media just running with
it, I think it is to be expected that the public will just go along as
well. I mean I think people that work all day and then come home to take
care of the kids are likely not going to have the time, energy, or
interest in searching out how their media and government are not exactly
being honest with them. They might turn on the news for a bit or read a
paper or maybe have a look around the internet but probably just take in
the highlights...and the media just highlights the nonsense. The stuff
that gets people chatting, or angry, and in the land of social media
where everybody can express their opinion and collect likes this is an
even larger goal. I mean just look at how the media has handled the FBI investigation of
Hillary Clinton. It's buried in the papers and CNN treats it like it is
the punchline of a joke. If Trump or Sanders were under investigation by
the FBI while running for president the media would be shouting this
everyday and it would be added to the end of their names every time they
are mentioned..."Donald Trump, who is the target of an ongoing FBI investigation..."With Clinton though they just pretend it is not happening. And now a few
days back on the 27th the State Department just released their report and
it says quite specifically they NEVER told Clinton she could have a
private server, never were told she was doing that, she never spoke to
legal or anybody else about the security of the set-up and it was flatly
never approved nor was it allowed. They also pointed out what she did is
nothing like what the previous people that served as Secretary of State
did and she never put anything in place to preserve her emails or protect
the security of the information on that server. In other words they
openly called her a liar. So, in a short span of time the director of the FBI and now the IG at the
State Department have openly and quite specifically called Clinton and
her campaign liars...and somehow this is not an issue. If these same
people came out and said this about Sanders or Trump you can bet
everything you own every major news outlet would be reporting that while
under investigation by the FBI that these guys were openly lying to the
public about it, making up things to call the investigation to downplay
it, and we'd get a boatload of coverage of this every hour on the hour to
let us know people under investigation by the FBI should not be running
for president...But since this is "Crooked" Hillary Clinton...well...nothing to see here.
She is telling one lie after another about a crime she committed while
under investigation by the FBI and openly refused to take part in the
State Department's investigation of what she did or answer any questions
about it and this is barely a blip on the radar. So, am I surprised when I bring this up a lot of people just say "Reg,
that's no big deal. It was just about her using her Blackberry."No, I'm not because the media is not sounding the alarm bells and so
people just think it is something to ignore. It won't be an issue until
the indictment comes down...and then it will be too late. This is what
the Super Delegates are for, to eliminate a candidate that is too much of
a risk to run for president and to make sure the party is on good footing
and can win the election. However, when you have people like Debbie
Wasserman Schultz running the show, a moron of epic proportions and total
Clinton toady, well...it's full steam ahead let's ram that iceberg! Are people responsible for getting themselves informed? Sure they are
but the media is not helping them to do so.
