Icon The Phoniness of all things of the Right and those followers....

The greatest prism to look at all this mess to prove the lacking of the integrity of the Right and what proves how phony the Right is, right there along with its followers, is simply history.

I have never seen a political party, or its followers, complete a flip-flopping morphism so devoid of sincerity and integrity than what we have seen with the Republican Party, conservatives, and Christians, and in such short time, too.

And to prove this with facts all one has to do is view this change through history.

First, look at this byzantine Russia love affair the Right has suddenly developed. EVERY credible intelligence gathering agency in the US has stated there is clear evidence Russia meddled/meddles in our elections. And what is the collective response of the Right - "Nothing here. Let's move on."

As recently as the 1980's, Ronald Reagan, the fantasy male of the Right, declared Russia as the "evil empire." Wow, what a transformation. And when Trump was confronted with the fact that Putin murders his enemies, his reply was the US kills people, too. Imagine if the Muslim Obama had said this on recorded media.

On top of this, Trump HAS committed obstruction of justice as proven by his admission of it in his interview with Lester Holt. where he clearly admits doing so by the firing or FBI Director Robert Comey.

So, in one fell swoop, out the door goes the Right's once claim of loving the Rule of Law and the seeing Russia as our enemy.

We have a president in the White House that is infantile in his behavior - he calls people names like he is on a grade school playground to try to stifle debate or criticism.

Let's look at family values - really, do we have to? What has happened the Rights' love affair with the truth and family values? It has now learned to disregard lies even made on videotape and with no sort of shame. The US ambassador to the Netherlands stated cars and people were being burned in the street and later said he never said that until the tape showing him saying exactly that was broadcast. Or Lindsay Graham declaring the media coined Trump a "kook," when his played tape showed it was him. Oh, and then the countless lies Trump has told recorded on tape.

Does everyone remember the truly "fake" scandal of the Bill Clinton $200 haircut that stopped traffic at the LAX airport that didn't happen? Can one imagine if Bill Clinton's followers, especially his attorney, had funneled $130k to a stripper to silence an affair? And when the affair happened while Clinton was still married to the mother of his recently born child? No, we don't have to imagine, because we've already seen that behavior.

And let's examine the religious right. Franklin Graham explains Trump's moral issues by stating he his not perfect. Well, go back and look up his quotes about Barack Obama - how he was set to destroy America because of his support of gays, how he only recognized Islam and so on. Then look at the Evangelicals who once declared under Obama where only about twenty percent stated a marital affair was forgivable, but now, under Trump, that same number jumps to over seventy percent.

My goodness, how can a group of people such as the Religious Right ever be taken seriously again when it comes to morality and family values ever again while so blindly backing a man such as Trump? His own factual background shows how phony this group really is about their beliefs and practices and how transitional these beliefs and practices are, most likely guided by whether a "R" or "D" is in front of one's name.

All of these claims are proven by recorded facts. These are not opinion based comments, but ones borne out by FACTS. However, the Right has turned facts, knowledge and the truth obsolete. The Right has turned ignorance into a laudable virtue. It has now become tolerable and standard for them to disregard science, fact and the truth and when they can't make that fit, name-calling becomes the next best thing to that of their ignorance.
