Icon Studies....

I have a very religious, female close friend and I asked her to explain to me how she could still follow Trump after all he has done - that he only found religion when running for president, the audio tape, the countless affairs, his admitting to "banging" women all over the world, many of them married and so on and what it basically came down to was that she felt he was the best person to represent her beliefs.

How she could feel this way when Trump has never asked for forgiveness or offer any sort of apology for not only his past behavior but his ongoing crudeness, meant nothing.

What adds to my bafflement is how, whether you liked him and his wife or not, the Obama's and their marriage and their personal behavior were the epitome of how moral people are SUPPOSED to act and how the Right will never admit this.

So, I guess it comes down to the studies that are showing there is a segment of people when faced with facts, burrow down even deeper into their beliefs, no matter how telling the evidence is.

It's like that friend that will never admit being wrong...never.
