It's actually comical if you still have the ability to laugh at this kind of thing. I get where Pat is coming from...man, we've been chatting with him for years...but the other night as this was all going down I came home and channel surfed the major news stations, including FOX, to see how they were dealing with this. Mainly because I do think the majority of people watch TV news to get their news, that's how they want it and that's how they can take it...in little bites. Hilariously, FOX, has been running stories as if this is not even happening. As I checked in on Tucker Carlson, he was doing some crazed nonsense on Antifa, I could not help but burst into laughter. I mean on the day Pelosi says they are moving forward to begin an official impeachment inquiry, Carlson is trying to frighten his (granted probably mostly over 60) viewers into thinking Antifa is coming to get them. Hannity was no better. Then the following night instead of talking about what the DNI said and what happened in that hearing, or the whistle blower report and what that means, they are doing some ridiculous story on how there are groups of people running into stores in California and grabbing anything they can and running out. They show a couple clips of what appear to be primarily people of color doing this (of course) and then talk nonsense about how California now supports this behavior rather than punishing it.

I'm thinking anybody that watches FOX news, if this is their primary source of information about what is going on in the world, is going to be totally fucking lost and probably stunned to discover that...well...they have no idea what is going on in the world.

So, if Trump does get impeached they will be sitting there asking "What the fuck just happened?" because that will drop on them like a ton of bricks.

You can kind of see it on the faces of the primary FOX personalities though. They know the shit is about to hit the fan. Laura Ingraham looked fairly horrified dealing with Giuliani as he went off the rails. You could see she was stunned and mortified at how idiotic he was. Carlson just looks lost, as I think he understands there is little to do except try to keep anybody watching his show from seeing anything about this, and Hannity...well...that guy may as well go on TV in clown make-up and try performing beginner magic tricks because he's literally got nothing but "They hate Trump!"

If this is what Pat is watching, it is no wonder he thinks what he does.
