A minority of people tie their dogs up or fence them in but for the most part, they're left to run free and chase whatever passes by. I would feel terrible if I found my pup in the ditch after being hit by a vehicle or if my cycling by caused that to happen to one. Until two years ago, most of my riding was done on busy highways. Lots of us are buying gravel bikes and taking to the gravel roads instead due to distracted drivers. Gravel roads give us many more options and the scenery is nicer. The occasional pup is about the only drawback to riding gravel. Glad you like the videos! Thanks, Mick!
