Dan, no, I never saw them again. Molly didn't survive much longer either from what I could see from the highway as I'd ride by in the years that followed. Co-workers who would routinely drive past the house would occasionally see her near the highway running loose.
I don't mind spending a little more on my bikes than the average joe does, but then I definitely get my money's worth of out them.
