In my earlier post I called Saxby Chambliss a "bastard"....I apologize; that is too kind of a word for a slug like him for what he did to Max Cleland (a man who lost three limbs in service for this country). It is not my claim someone has to have war experience to be a viable candidate, but for one candidate like Chambliss to align Cleland in ads with Bin Forgotten and Saddam is unconscionable. His fellow republicans should have shown integrity and demanded he not do such a thing. And to me, this type of behavior shows how easily conservatives are willing to use such slash and burn tactics when it comes to politics.

As for calling our President -select Shrub, that too is too kind for his behavior. I have absolutely no respect for him or his behavior. As someone said, we had one president impeached for lying about sex and one president who lied to get us into a war and who will probably be re-elected. How sad indeed.

The dems need to call things as they are, just like the conservative have been doing so well. For example, look at Ashcroft's statements about how anyone who is critical of the war on terror is giving aid to the terrorists and weaking the US. Look at how the right has crucified the dissenters as unpatriotic and traitors. How enraging.

So I do not think it is offensive or alarming to refer to these two as "Shrub" and "bastard" is uncalled for. Like the right, one on the left is just calling it as it is seen.
