So, everything in that little Christmas story I wrote is true. With one exception, the end of it where I say I hope I get to say "Hey, fuck you too." to the neighbors with the FUCK BIDEN sign. That was a joke, if that was not obvious. I would like to ask them if they we taking into consideration the kids getting on the school bus or not when they put that up so if I do see them, I probably will ask that question.
The truth is, Pat, we are more alike than different in that we are all human beings. We have the same needs, enjoy similar things, we probably could easily share a laugh together.
The media does push out a lot of things to make us worry. No question about that. I think Donald Trump is the most divisive person we have ever had to deal with in our lifetimes though. He is better at it than the media because one of his primary goals is to enrage his base and give the finger to people that are not part of his base. He drove that division home to such an extent it is now going to probably take many years to overcome it.
The media has been destroyed to a great degree by this in that people are now more determined than ever to only watch media they agree with. Not that is factual, FOX long ago threw facts out the window, but that they like and Trump has openly said he just labels news he doesn't like fake. His followers seem to love this idea.
I mean, a great Christmas present you could give me, Pat, is just telling me that you are off the Trump bandwagon, and that you can't stand people like Greene, Boebert, Walker, Gosar, Jordan...only if you mean it though, not just to make me feel better about the world for a few minutes.
Other than that, merry Christmas and a happy new year to you, Pat. Enjoy your holidays and if you really feel like giving this year, give what I said some thought. It couldn't hurt and if you throw me a bone and answer a couple of my questions, I'd be happy to return the favor. Ask me anything, Pat.
