Lincoln Memorial getting a big upgrade
Quite interesting and runs counter to the occasional attempts seen to "cancel" Lincoln (mostly scare-mongering, I think). This is quite interesting and I suspect will be well-worth visiting. Our last family visit to DC was in spring 2016, and I'd say the Lincoln Memorial was for us the highlight of the National Mall area.
