Which, in turn, means MANY of the views we hold today will probably be highly questionable in the future.  The idea that all the momentum will go Left runs counter to history (as does any view that things will all move right).  It'll be a hodgepodge, of course, unless there is a revolution or a revival.  (Having lived through a sort of revolution in real time, I can tell with 100% confidence that we don't want that).
