Basically, this will probably calm your fears a bit in that this will not escalate into WWIII but it won't cheer you up about the fate of innocent people in this conflict. To give you a quick summary, the Palestinians will die in large numbers and really...no other country will take issue with that. They have absolutely zero standing in the world and so, everybody, even Iran, will be fine allowing the Israelis to indiscriminately mow them down in whatever numbers they choose. The Palestinians have no allies in the world, none, and this is because they have nothing that they really offer the world in a financial sense. Hence, Israel can do whatever they want and will. The other country on their border, Egypt, also does not care what happens to the Palestinians. They would be fine if Israel flattens the place and builds condos on it. Bottom line, there is no help on the way for Palestinians.
