...be nice to them because the world is absolutely fine if they go extinct. It's just the horribly sad reality of it.
The United States is only interested in this until they get our hostages out. Once that happens they will stand back and let Israel go wild slaughtering whomever they want there and bombing the whole place to rubble. The Israeli government does not even give a damn if Hamas kills the Israeli hostages. They don't care about and will not be negotiating with Hamas for them. If Hamas kills them all it is just license to destroy and kill everything in the Gaza Strip...and other countries will say "That was an overreaction!" and then go back to whatever they were doing. It is just sad that even the other countries in the region are fine with killing any and all Palestinians.
I mean, I'd like to say, well there is another angle here but man, I listened to several people comment on this from several countries and it was pretty damn dark for Palestinians. Nobody wants them in their country, nobody will help them, nobody even really cares about giving them any aid...really as far as the rest of the world goes, Israel can help themselves to the Gaza Strip and some people might make some comments that it was ugly but nobody is going to stop them and nobody is going to worry about it long term.
Some bad actors might use it as a political football for a bit but if Israel wiped out every Palestinian and built a new city on top of the rubble of Gaza and named it Netanyahu Heights...well...the world would say "Hey, nice new oceanfront condos you've got there!" and act as if the Palestinians never existed.
I know that's sick but in the transactional way of the world, nobody gets anything out of helping the Palestinians. It seems like in the region itself, the surrounding countries would be fine if the Israelis just wipe the people and place off the map.
Imagine if Trump was president...he would just tell Bibi, "Kill 'em all and I will help develop the oceanfront and put up a Trump tower in Netanyahu Heights."
In truth, I don't think anybody has to tell the Palestinians anything. They know what is coming and that nobody will stop it. The word "hope" to these people is an obscenity.
Hamas, or some faction of Hamas may have attacked Israel just to bring this on, so the real slaughter would begin. If somebody can get a ceasefire to happen, well, that would probably be a miracle.
