Mick, I get what you're saying but Biden's options have him hemmed in. Israel is our ally. He has to be careful in how he maneuvers our helping Israel without appearing to support the way Netanyahu is waging this war. The last thing Biden needs is a huge block of voters, he's going to need, to begin abandoning him before the next election and handing the presidency back to Trump. I was pissed when Biden came out so forcefully in support of Israel because I knew exactly what this was going to look like. It's even worse than I'd imagined. I want to see him be more forceful about protecting innocent lives—possibly placing stipulations on Netanyahu and how he wages this war. That sounds sticky, tho, as I write that. How deeply do we want to involve ourselves in prosecuting this war?
