Right on, Mick. Over the years I've learned to follow your gist quite comfortably. Whatever struggle early on has long since passed. 'Cos if there's earnest interest in a person's content, well, then it's up to the reader to gain some foothold, to see

at least to some extent as the writer sees ..or skip it & move on. Especially if my role here has been to riff quippy drivel in a blurb that aims for some humor, some irony, & heart, babyy, 'cos without heart hope is lost and without hope -- well, fckit!

It's just that until yours I'd never seen use of the phrase: "full tonto". I have done some deep dive since and found that it's also been used to describe select men of currupt power. So you were right on target and I'm just a hair-bit smarter now.

That Tonto was meant as a slur in The Lone Ranger is just another early 20th Century coincidence of bigotry. FWIW the Tonto character played by Jay Silverheels was the only role in the story that had my attention as a kid.

That the writer opted to task his hero with secretly insulting his Potawatomi companion is a defining moment. Maybe not unlike an early 1970s choice by film producers to have the Chinese Shaolin monk, Kwai Chang Caine, be played (very confusingly to me as a child) by David Carradine rather than Bruce Lee. They were always calling him Chinaman ..my eyes saw a white dude! Was years until i got it. But hey..

Water under the bridge. We're trying to stop the global resurrection of the IronEagle today. I agree that it's a damn serious predicament! & I get that chaos was/IS proscribed.

We find ourselves in 20!23 still having NOt worked out the societal importance of wholly abolishing mass slaughter as an economical/political strategy! Fuck! Mick! What's it gonna take for powerful humans to come to terms with the hell they invite by not collectively agreeing, sage & human decency, for sake of Earth and humanities, to Fcking Stop putting people in labeled boxes then blowing them into little pieces!? (Or calling them out as idiots or a tools 'cos they're working out life's details in their own individual due course. Often times decent, learned, loved, successful people, merely trying to put the pieces together. Asking questions. Expressing doubts. Sometimes with humor. Often creatively. Humanly.)

The rich would still be rich. Plenty, filthy rich. & THAt's cool, they colorize our world with their ambition & industriousness. The bourgeois too 'cos it's wonderful what they can see & do! Sometimes inspiring the working class to go that extra mile!
The working class will still earn a buck to make a living; but perhaps groceries need NOt be gouged beyond excess 'cos the dollar has been purposefully devalued nearly out of ex- istance. & the poor will still be poor, albeit with avenues of assistance befitting a fellow human being. Other platforms DO exist that if accepted into the fold COULd truly bring US into a 21st Century worthy of ALL our generations' best efforts!! & with a beat, man!🎶 But the man said, "No!" The man said, "Amen." The man said, "You're either all-in or you're the opposition!" Once upon a time the side I've voted for my entire adult life was principal protector of Open Discussion. Not so sure at all anymore. So it troubles me. Because I am.

What'll it finally take, Mick? The rise o the kingdom of the planet of the apes?
