Just talked to a 25ish yr old woman from DC who has an undergrad  and Master’s in International Studies-Peace and Conflict Resolution. It was a Paulding Co. Progressive Women’s Book Club party and we were talking about 2024 and the 25 yr old said  “good luck with Biden winning” because he’s lost the youth vote with what “he’s allowed Israel to do to the Palestinians”. She had done several research studies on the Palestinians over her college career so knew more than the average person about the situation. Several of us talked about what Trump would lead to in that situation being so much worse and that it wouldn’t just be abortion that would be taken away, but  contraception as well. We’ve got to help the youth see that Biden might not have all the answers in this or any situation. I know I don’t like everything his administration does. I want the children and the mothers, fathers, grandparents, aunts, and uncles to all stop being bombed out of existence.  But not voting, or voting for someone other than Biden would mean so much more horrendous actions, not only abroad but here at home. I’m REALLY scared and worried hearing that, but I guess that’s just another wake-up call to what we need to do.
