I can't watch the video but I am aware of the nuclear clock and the predictions of how close we are of using one. Honestly, yes, the more countries allowed into the nuclear club, the more the chances rise of some madman using one.

Our democracy is really the world's democracy. We lose this one, everything tilts. If these voters in the US don't do the right thing...that screws the world...not just the United States. The world is a small place and the US is the one country in it that has the power and pull to play a large part in nuclear deterrence. Remove US democracy, now the nuclear clock is at midnight.

Biden is not Bibi's bitch. My personal feeling is your view of that situation is fairly skewed. That entire situation is going to have to play out in stages. That is the unfortunate reality of it and as that happens, yes, more people, a lot of them under 18 and innocent will die. The humanitarian crisis will grow worse. There are no buttons to press to end it immediately as much as you or I would like there to be.

Basically, the best that can be said about it at the moment is, hopefully it can be contained so all hell does not break loose and several countries in the Middle East end up involved. I honestly don't know what you expect to happen there, Mick. You seem to be saying you think Biden could have done something to end it right away. Or that he should just condemn Israel, pull out of supporting them, and then let Iran and other countries wipe them off the map...because if the US backs away from Israel, if they yank all their support, that is the direction that goes in. So, then lots and lots of dead people in several countries. Is that a win?

Quite honestly, it is not that war that I think Biden has done a poor job with, I see the war in Ukraine being the one where we blew our chances to either prevent or end it sooner. We've let that one drag on and on.

I'll be totally honest with you, Mick, I think Putin was begging to be negotiated with, we probably, I feel, could have prevented the war in Ukraine and it really seems like we intentionally did not. We called Putin's bluff and he said fine and attacked. I think we could have got around that happening.

In the Israel Gaza war, you have the dangerous and insane Hamas on one side, and dangerous and insane Bibi on the other. You can't stop that. And that war is going to rile up the nuts in the surrounding countries and they are all going to be calling for wiping each other off the map. There are no easy ways out of that, no simple negotiations. You constantly have to balance keeping a whole bunch of unstable people from killing each other and honestly, sad to say, it is a region where the players there do not value human life the way we do.
