Yeah, I disagree with you on this one. Hundreds of thousands of troops, with armor, tactical missiles and all the trimmings were massing at the border. There was no flame-fanning necessary. And Ukraine is hardly a little piece of land—it's the second largest country in Europe, almost the size of Texas. Putin has promised for years that he would restore Russia to the glory days of Peter the Great, and Ukraine is the biggest chunk of that dream. I don't think he was ever bluffing. But I don't think he expected the international coalition Biden assembled.
