Nice, yes, that shows Joe playing starting with some stuff where he is switched to the neck (he says front) pick-up and switching to the bridge (or rear) pick-up. He also explains getting the sound of the guitar itself, basically by plugging in and cranking up an amp, which I believe is basically what we are hearing in the first video in this thread. I think Gary Moore just is plugged in and he has that amp cranked up, Spinal Tap style, to 11. So, we really are hearing the guitar there. 

Also showing the Les Paul Joe is playing you can see if you go back and look at one of the videos of Greeny being played, that the neck (or front) pick-up is upside down. On Joe's guitar the neck pick-up is the way it would be mounted on a stock Les Paul. 

Lots of variables in play listening to Joe's Les Paul sitting in Rick Beato's studio and Moore or Hammet playing Greeny in a live setting, but I think Joe is playing clean in that video, so we are hearing just the guitar through an amp.
