When music, movies, culture and so many other life-enriching things were more prominent here, however, I do believe that we are right in the middle of an era where we are yet to observe the full danger of horrible discourse that is bred and fed within social media.

Don't get me wrong - the things that are being discussed here are highly important, but I think we are seeing the powerful influences of social media and how it is bred to feed antagonism all over.  It's like that damn plant Creeping Charlie - it spreads and spreads and gets into everything and to avoid it encroaching on everything, we need to become better cultivators.

In a way, it's kind of sad - I do wish if there were other sincere conservative-leaning fans of DB that they would post here, but not those that just spout off nonsense and obvious talking points while declaring how they are not racist when so many of their posts are clearly covert instances of racist dog-whistles (yes, if you aren't a racist, then why use an Avatar that is clearly a racist dog whistle, as well as purposely misspelling a black woman's name over and over again).

Honestly, I think it takes a lot of courage to enter this lion's den as a right-leaning person and especially those that want to express themselves SINCERELY and AUTHENTICALLY and not as an asshole that is just spreading discourse to create chaos.
