I agree with absolutely everything you said Reg, except for 1 thing: the election will now go to Trump.

There is no evidence yet that people are saying "oh no look what happened. I think I'll change my vote to trump" or "Man, I wasn't going to vote but that Republican guy tried to kill trump so I think I'm going to vote for trump."

Project 2025 is still Project 2025 and is still motivating and really energizing many people to be interested in and committed to voting for Democrats. Also, we are 3.5 months out from the election and many other events will happen between now and then. What we say, sometimes comes to be or at least that's something I strive to adhere to(believe me I am no where near being good at this).

If this had been a democrat that had tried to assassinate trump, I might worry a little more. This was a republican. This is the result of Republicans not allowing sensible gun reform and the incendiary rhetoric coming from trump and the republicans.

We'll keep doing the work. We'll keep educating the public on the horrors of Project 2025 AND the vision that Democrats and Biden/Harris has for our country. I'm trying to keep envisioning a win AND I'm making sure that I am doing whatever it is I can do, no matter how little, to ensure a win!
