Musk has always been smart about picking sides that benefit his goals. Right now, he’s teaming up with Trump and the Republicans, but he’s not the type to stick around if something else works better for him. He’s known for doing whatever it takes to push his vision forward, and his loyalty is always to his mission, not to any political party.

Even though DOGE sounds official, it’s not a formal government department. It’s more like a special task force giving advice to the government. This means it doesn’t have the same power as a federal agency. Musk might come up with great ideas, but turning them into real change could still take time and support from others in the government.

Musk’s leadership style is intense—he’s either all in or not interested at all. He’s a big-picture guy who doesn’t like compromise, which might clash with how government typically works. Instead of just telling people what to do, he’ll need to figure out how to work with a lot of different opinions and priorities.

All in all, Musk’s involvement in DOGE could bring big changes. He’s known for getting things done, but how well he can adapt to government work remains to be seen. It’s a unique experiment: bringing a tech leader into politics to see if he can really make the government run like a well-oiled machine. Only time will tell how much impact he’ll have.
