: Well DB look's like you're going to be responsible for a lot of family reunions on this tour...I'll wager that you won't play a venue where I can show up at some poor in-law of mine and there's probably going to be a lot of pissed off extended families on the receiving end of DB fans creaming themselves about how good you are
: but not me no sir!
Awww c'mon, Mick. I'm sure you're related to someone over here! Sure, it's probably a deep dark family secret to be related to an AMERICAN but we've screwed so many people in our 200 plus years, you've got to have a yank relative.
The invitation still stands. If you can get over here, I'll buy you a pint of the best Oatmeal stout that this country makes (it aint guinness...it's completely different in a good sort of way.)
Anyway, here's a band that plays europe quite a bit 16 Horsepower. They're from Denver and they should have a new album out next summer. You should check them out. I have all their CD's and if you want powerful music with lyrical content that takes chances, this is your band. The lyrical content is almost all really creepy Old Testament Bible stuff harkening the fire and brimstone style of early american evangelists. I tend to shy away from "christian music" mostly because of it's Milk-Toast approach to life, but this stuff kicks you right in the throat. My co workers think it's scary.
Anyway, have a good evening, sir.
