: You want me to GIVE you $100,000?
: THAT IS MY POINT--- you go out and EARN IT, no one GIVES you anything!
: And, if the bank only charged the fair and equitable 8%, it wouldn't take you thirty years to pay it off!
: Did that ever occur to you?
Well, I did offer to pay you back. I would use my earnings over the thirty years to do that. When I borrow money from the bank, they give it to me and then I use my earnings over thirty years to pay it back. I like that arrangement.
But I never did see a bank yet that would just charge a simple eight percent, compounded once. If you find one, let me know, and I'll switch my mortgage over.
Here I thought I had found such a lender in you, but I guess not. It seems like you would jump at the chance, since you're such an advocate for a simple interest, compounded only once. Oh well, back to the real world.
