I had no idea, how this whole americana/roots/alt.country scene has expanded to quite, a fairly large radio base. It's awesome! I have been purchasing No Depression magazine on and off for a few years, to keep up with this genre. Here in Phoenix we have lot's of Top 40, Country, Angry White Boy stations. Nothing even remotely close to playing music by artists such as David. I've had to rely on magazines for years.
There seems it be a fairly large fan base for this genre in the UK and Europe as well! Magazines like Uncut, Mojo, Q have been covering the scene for years.
