First, thanks for replying Marc.

For the most part Reg, I'd say no. I don't think liberals actaully hate America.  I don't think any of the liberals on this board do anyway.

It was nice to read this. I'll tell you Marc one of the reasons (there are actually many) I tried to start this conversation is because "hate" seems to be a word that's used an aweful lot these days...the media in particular seems to be in love with "hate".

You used Moore as an example of a guy that "bashes America, not just Bush"...

First on this point, and this may be an interesting door to understanding here:

Bashing Bush or politicians or their policy is not the same as bashing America or "hating America". Would you consider that statement true?

Second on this point:

Can you give an example of "America bashing". Something you think illustrates the difference between this and the first point. It doesn't have to be an actual example (like a Moore quote), you can make something up...I want to make this easy not a homework assignment. Like if someone says "blah, blah, blah", I'd call that bashing America. See what I mean.
