Paula and I just got back from the Barenaked Ladies concert here in Buffalo --- where the son of one of my closest friends performed upon winning the Buffalo Idol run up to American Idol.

Marc received a thundering reception --- this kid is going to be huge!

The BARENAKED LADIES were on stage for about an hour. I didn't write down their setlist because I never heard them before tonight. I wanted to see them based upon the comments of people here.

They also reminded me of THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS --- they had that indie vibe.

I didn't know what to expect but the BARENAKED LADIES were pretty entertaining.

One thing I do want to comment on --- the radio station sponsoring the concert was WKSE KISS 98.5 FM --- the two front men in BARENAKED LADIES proceeded to mention how much they liked KISS as well as mentioning GENE SIMMONS and PAUL STANLEY.

A fun band that was surprisingly entertaining --- I will have to check out the music on CD sometime.
