Kev:They really got the crowd going --- I was also surprised how many
songs I knew of theirs. What I found interesting is that they seemed to have a THEY MIGHT
BE GIANTS type of a vibe going on --- the humor was seemlessly
interlaced with some fun power pop --- interesting combination. The radio station sponsoring the show was Buffalo's WKSE ---
KISS-FM 98.5 --- and in between songs they launched into a
monologue about how they felt that GENE SIMMONS and PAUL
STANLEY were the true rock gods --- at the end of the bit they
wished everyone a MERRY KISSMAS!How could I not smile?!?!?!?BTW --- my young friend MARC SCIBILIA had one hell of a night
the other night. He performed two songs --- finishing off with
Stevie Wonder's OVERJOYED. He got written up in the local paper,
and I am saying right here and now that we will all be seeing and
hearing some great things from this young man --- he had the
crowd in his hands. He's got a bit of experience to earn --- but
he'll be moving onward and upward.http://www.kiss985.com/onair/janetandnick/buffaloidol2/Please give MARC a listen and let me know what you think, okay? This is GENUINE TALENT --- not flash in the pan . . . MARC
SCIBILIA appeared in Entertainment Weekly this past summer. Thanks for listening . . . all comments welcome!KDB = Buffalo, NY USA
