The quote are not essential. They were/are a nice touch.

Remove personal attacks, and remove excessive quotes from excessive single contributors. At least limit and maybe rotate them from any one individual.

I hope the intention was to provide thoughtful quotes that individuals found inspiring.

There is plenty of space on the board for opinions. That is not what the "quotes" section is for.

Seems simple to me. I contributed one quote that I find particularly inspiring. If its gone, BFD, it still means something to me.

Really not much to debate as far as I am concerned.

I do think that the quotes should be from music, authors and scholars, and should strive to impart some wisdom. Posting a flub by Mr. Bush or anybody in the public eye for the sole purpose of ridicule is a waste of everyones time and brings no sense of a higher purpose to the section. Using it to mock any regular contributer to the board,, as I see it, is childish and certainly does not elevate the quality of the discourse here.
