Just thought of something else. Sorry for the multiple, identical posts before, but for some reason, it is really difficult for the post to go through (Dan, Pat any ideas why?), and I hit the happy button more than once, cause I hate having to retype the message.

Now, back to "something else".  THE solution..which will probably NEVER happen, is for the public to absolutely boycott by NOT purchasing ANY tickets through this service for shows.  If you can't find an alternative way to buy the ticket eg..day of show at the door, record store that doesn't use Ticketmaster, you protest by...yep, not buying the ticket.  That doesn't mean not going to the show...there are of course the scalpers..but that would be up to the individual, I am not advocating anything illegal.

If show attendance is down, and the bands and venues learn why ...things will change.  And things will only change when certain people are kicked in the billfold.
