I used to go to clubs very regularly. The Buffalo area has had a few bands that have made it big:

1) Talas (Billy Sheehan)

2) 10,000 Maniacs (Natalie Merchant)

3) Goo-Goo Dolls (John Resznik)

4) Rick James

5) Green Jello

Talas and Billy Sheehan is the band I have seen the most in my entire life --- over 300 times! They used to be the house band for a club that was a beach club, and I saw them every Friday and Saturday for probably three years straight!

Nowadays, the club scene here isn't that hot. But, I do get out when a guy like Pierre Bensusan or Stanley Clarke does a gig in town!
