The point Peter was making was that Bushco has gutted environmental protection policy in an obvious effort to be a friend to big money. This has been reported countless times by countless sources in countless publications...so he chose the Sierra Club piece...that doesn't really erase the fact that this stuff is true and people have quit their jobs in disgust because of it.

What you guys have done here is ignore the point and turn the whole thing into a partisan slugfest. That seems to be your favorite tactic GA. Then nothing about the wrong doing of the Bushco boys gets discussed. Instead ignore the crime and talk about the ACLU? That makes more sense right?

I don't recall anyone here comparing Bush with the Taliban...or Ashcroft to Nazis...I do remember Richard the righty trying to draw a line from Nazis to Democrats...but there's really no point in any of that...let's talk issues...

Last thing...I believe that argument Pat made about there being no terrorist attacks in the US since 9/11 is pretty nutty...it's been said time and time again here we've never had a plague of terrorist attacks on US soil and you guys are acting if Bushco suddenly put an end to terrorism in the US. Again what is the total number of times foreign terrorists have attacked us within the US and how many years passed between attempts on the Trade Center? They keep openly admitting they can't stop it and they've set the threat level at high to back that notion up...so go buy some duct tape.
