I'm about 1/3 of the way through the book and agree with you.  I began college in the fall of '69, went to the march on Washington and was tear-gassed and then participated in protests and street theatre following Kent State in spring '70.  I have always wanted a better perspective in understanding all angles of that very seminal time; and , in that regard, I find this book quite illuminating.
