"Quite possibly"?..Cmon' Kev...I'm so disappointed in that coming from you.   Sounds like all those lame-ass reviewers from Rolling Stone.   That, and the word "sensibility" as in "good pop sensibility" etc..drive me up the fuckin' wall (I know you didn't use that one)..  Either you thought he was one of the greatest singer/songwriters of the 70's (I didn't) or you didn't.  Obviously you did..so please say so.    That "quite possibly" phrase should be annhilated from use, since it gives the person who uses it an out...like when you say "quite possibly" yes, you imply also that "quite possibly" no...
