The democratic candidates for president are playing a safe political game. I guess you could call'em my guys since I'm a democrat and tend more to the left than the right, but why should that keep me from criticizing Bush for his stance on a gay marriage amendment. I personally have no problem with gay marriage, I disagree with anyone who does regardless of whether they are running for president, I have a much bigger problem with a changing the constitution, which Bush is advocating and the dems aren't (odd, since Repubs are supposed to be the state's rights champoins, but I believe its just the dems hedging for political purposes) and it is the right wing vociferously fighting against gay unions, denigrating gays publicly and stridently calling for their political representatives to rush a marriage amendment through congress, this a have a problem with . . .
