Saw the Passion today and was mortified by how utterly awful it was: no story to speak of, no characterization, wooden acting, and endless brutal violence that bordered on the pornographic. The cinematography was reasonable, as was the score, but overall what a piece of manipulative holy shit.

And, yes, it could well be regarded as anti-semitic...

Shame on Mel Gibson; I just hope the megalomaniac is donating the 30 billion pieces of silver he makes as 'blood' money from this film to a suitable charity - the Sundance festival might be a good place to start...
