O.K. Pat and company I'm a little late on this response. Yes,Yes go out and buy "Tropical Brainstorm"!!! And if you can find it or not buy her "Kite" CD. It's by far her best. Kristy was not only a very gifted singer, but an amazing songwriter. Yes,she died tragicaly in 2000, in fact she died a week after I returned from London on vacation with a UK copy of Tropical Brainstorm. The U.S version has a horrible cover, but three bounus tracks and a video track. If your unable to find her three prior albums to "Tropcal Brainstorm", let me know. I will gladly burn copies for you! If memory serves me correct, I do believe they are all out-of-print in the US. I also own a few other recordings of hers, plus b-sides rarities etc. Another fact or tidbit is that Kristy wrote and recorded the song, "They Don't Know" the one and only hit, later covered by the famous comedian, Tracy Ulman. She also recorded withThe Smiths, Talking Heads, The Rolling Stones, Happy Mondays, Simple Minds and list goes on and on. Just like the allready over-mentioned artist on this site: Miss Crow, Kristy was a very active back up, studio singer for many years. She is also the daughter of the very well respected and famous English Folk writer/singer, Ewan MaColl.
