Hello Mr Ghost:) I did see my need. I still do. And be assured, any righteousness I have or exhibit is Jesus in me. Trust me I'd be scum without Him. I shutter to think what kind of man I would have become without the Lord. The only reason I wouldn't do a Peter is because of the Comforter within. However, without the Holy Spirit as was true of Peter, I would have behaved the same. No doubt about it. I hope you are wrong about the pride in my posts. I certainly don't think I have anything to be proud of, only thankful. But perhaps you are right, and I will certainly find out at the Judgement Seat of Christ. As to being a target, there is no avoiding that, and you needn't be vocal-the spirits know who is who. But thanks anyhow.

I suppose you are referring to the crankiness I exhibited. My apologies, and yet, I do not entirely apologize. I am reminded that Jesus and Paul were a lot more harsh than they are commonly given credit for-in your face even. Not yours specifically, you understand.
You need not worry about drawing me away from Jesus. It has been attempted; including that I bow to another or die. As the scripture points out, no one can remove us from His hand. Nonetheless, I appreciate your desire not to damage(?) my faith, it's not the usual response, as Eugene might testify!-)
I will deal with him later, but first I must finish another labor for another poster. Thanks for the encouragement and critique. I hope you will wade in again.
My Dad's big offering was the Dale Carnege view of life and the old advice about sidestepping the two most important subjects effecting a man. I like to talk about both, and more.
It won't always be this way(uniformitarianism is a falicy), but for now, He does bring the rain upon the evil and the good. I do try to be mindful, but profitable fellowship requires critique of what we cannot see of ourself being brought to our attention. So thanks again.
Be well Ghost.
