Kent, Your defense of David is admirable if a little naive. Knowing the recording industry as well as I do (and I do), I'd wager that Triage had little to do with imperiling David's carrer. The business, the marketplace and perhaps David's own unwillingness to bend to suit the suits, the dollar and the top twenty formula were more important elements -- and deserve equal respect.
