Eric:Your highly lucid and intelligent response with regard to
PREDATORY INDUSTRIAL CAPITALISM was right on the target! In
fact, a bullseye! The fact is in the year 2000, global oil production and reserves had
finally reached the point of no return --- what is known as PEAK
OIL. From here on out --- gasoline will get more and more
expensive --- and it is also the reason why the neo-con
imperialistic alpha male has almost exclusively come out of this
nations' energy industry. Gasoline is now $2.00 a gallon --- before this well needed change
in our industrial capitalistic structure occurs --- expect gas prices
of somewhere between $4.00 and $7.00 a gallon. Finally, let us NEVER FORGET that all of this exists because of DE-
regulation of the energy industry, the death of labor unions and
the power they once wielded, and the various free-trade
agreements that have helped to greatly lower the standard of living
in the USA by replacing high-paying industrial jobs with low-
paying jobs in the service sector --- specifically creating ever more
RETAIL STORE workers and FAST FOOD workers.KDB = Buffalo, NY USA
