Since Ridge stated that the goal is that these were to be used on all passports of visitors to the US, I was curious as to what a biometric identifier was. My conclusion is that they can go from photographs, fingerprints and on to iris scans, or the like. The following link is an interesting take on the biometric identification genesis. I am nobody is taking on a whole new connotation. Hmmmm
