> What I DID SAY, was that in addition to seeing the film, I also watched three seperate INTERVIEWS with Michael Moore, where he discussed the documentary at length.

But since the media does nothing but manipulate dialogue and events to meet their own objectives, would the interviews not also be distorted? How do you know they were separate interviews? Did he have a different hat on? AND WHAT IS UP WITH THE CAPS? DO YOU HAVE AN ERRANT LEFT PINKY FINGER?

>Also, your pejorative use of the terms conspiracy, conspiracy theory and conspiracy theorist is proof in and of itself of the point I was making in asking you where you got your beliefs from. The reason why I am saying this is because your comments attempt to slam books you have never read, and casually dismissing the information contained in these same books --- once again without reading them or without even knowing what is even being discussed in the book's pages.

No, my pejorative use of any term is not proof of anything. What happened to your intensive research – suddenly my disparaging remarks prove something?

I have never used the term conspiracy theorist. I’m not slamming any book without even knowing what is being discussed – for I carefully review, then dismiss, the Reader’s Digest version you provide at every opportunity. Wait, I don’t think RD provides ISBN and toll-free order numbers!

I just figured out what you remind me of, Kent – you are a living breathing pop up banner!

>I am very interested in this, because it may be a very important part of the puzzle, which is to discern where people get their beliefs from.

The newspaper I read is the Financial Times M-Sat, and the Wisconsin State Journal on Sunday. I subscribe to US News and World Report and Playboy, and read the free publications The Onion and Isthmus each week. Besides that printed media I regularly peruse the following news web sites: CNN.com, USAToday.com, Newsday.com, JSOnline.com, Madison.com, and ESPN.com. I listen to a local talk radio program each morning, WTDY 1670 AM from 6-9 am (they do broadcast on the internet wtdy.com). Please tell me I’m getting enough fiber in my diet!

>Also, do you honestly believe that all the violence and mayhem on the TV is there because people want it to be there?!? I am a pacifist through and through --- where is the programming geared toward my demographic?

You are a pacifist through and through!?! Sure, whatever. I guess 24 is a sitcom. I’ve never seen it, but from the advertisements there sure seems to be a preponderance of guns, kidnapping, explosions and very poor telephone manners. I think Fox has you by the scrotum. What other shows are you watching? C’mon, you can tell Uncle Ian.

>So, what I am saying is absolutely rooted in sound psychological theory

Absolutely rooted in theory. Got it.
